Eukaryotic Microbes Club

B118 Life Sciences

Hosting Labs: Hall and Striepen

The goal of the EMC is to provide an opportunity for University of Georgia students, postdocs, techs, and PIs to present their work and exchange ideas in a collegial environment. The EMC will strive to complement rather than compete with existing journal clubs, interest groups, and lab meetings.  Laboratories from Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Plant Biology, and Cell Biology are represented by their appreciation of the power of using eukaryotic microbes and a variety of approaches to address fundamental biological problems. We also welcome researchers from additional labs who share our interests.
