The Analytical Service and Training Laboratory at the CCRC has expertise in structural characterization of glycoconjugates including polysaccharides, glycoproteins (Glycomics and Glycoprotemics) and glycolipids using mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS, LC-ESI-MS/MS), GC-MS ) and 1D and 2D NMR. The lab works with samples derived from plants, bacterial or animal tissue or cells. We also offer five hands-on annual training courses on techniques for isolation and purification and detailed structural characterization of of glycans. Research Areas: Glycobiology
