The Graduate School's Alumni of Distinction Award goes to BMB!

On October 3 2019, BMB was honored to receive the Graduate School’s Alumni of Distinction Award on behalf of Dr. Marion Bradford, who was unable to attend in person. Dr. Bradford was a graduate student when he published his now famous protein assay, which has now been cited over 200,000 times in the scientific literature. The celebration was attended by many, including (left to right) Dr. Greg Trevor (Executive Director for UGA Media Communications), Dr. Chris West (Head of BMB), Dr. Emily Hildebrant (BMB Research Coordinator II), Kathy West (Dr. West's wife), and Dr. Walter Schmidt (Professor of BMB).
