Cell wall formation (primary wall, wood), secondary metabolism (lignin, flavonoids, phenolics), wounding, plant defense (phytoalexins, oxidative burst, hypersensitivity), responses to drought, flooding, salinity, pollutants (heavy metals, ozone).
