Terns Lab receives first round NIH MIRA award

The award will support the Terns Lab's work to understand the CRISPR-Cas immune systems. The competition for the first of the new NIH Maximizing Investigators' Research Awards was particularly impressive - applications were restricted to groups currently funded with at least 2 NIH awards.
